Ingrid's Substack Postings
In days long gone, I had a weekly astrology column, syndicated on college campuses, as well as a column in the local newspaper whose editor used to howl that by the time the paper went to press it was “last week’s news today.” I am not quite taking this risk now, but I am assuming that all went according to plan and that Julian Assange is home with his wife and children, and with ample time ahead to regroup his energies, recover his vitality, and design his future.
As a pacifist, I am not in alignment with spurious arguments about national security. This, alas, began long before the infamous Iraqi footage released by Wiki Leaks. It is possible that my pacifism was birthed in previous incarnations because I think it was inborn in this lifetime. My father was a civilian, never in uniform, but he worked in aeronautics, missiles, and eventually the space program. I vividly remember his telling my mother that the scientists had discussed how their knowledge was used and concluded that this fell in the realm of governmental responsibility and was hence not an issue for engineers and those who designed the weapons and vehicles used in war. I was very young and absolutely sickened . . . so it is no surprise that what I said when learning of the alleged Gulf of Tonkin incident is not printable.
Whether the U.S. is a democracy or republic or some other type of entity, the assumption most of us make is that the system is supposed to give a voice to the people. Since this is obviously not the case, the system is broken. Who makes the decisions and why operates in the shadow, and the agenda is foisted on people who are then conscripted and forced to risk their lives serving a master they have never met and who certainly does not have their interests at heart.
So, does anyone have a right to expose what lurks in the shadows?
While in Vietnam, I was privy to a great deal of classified information. I was not at liberty to divulge this though I felt the material was recklessly handled and often found in Vietnamese governmental offices when it was supposed to be locked in a safe. Once the material falls into other hands, there is no longer protection for what is supposed to be a secret among a few. Therefore, if an official or journalist shoved a piece of paper in front of me and asked if I had read it or perhaps even written it, that individual had the information and could basically do whatever he or she wanted to do with it. Whatever I might say or not say would not have any effect on what follows.
If I desperately wanted the New York Times or Wall Street Journal to find out something, the most I could do would have been to suggest being in a certain place at a certain time, like perhaps the airport. I would assume any proper journalist would know to bring a camera.
Governments speak of “interests” not of relationships. In today’s world, these interests are usually commercial and have little or nothing to do with threats to national security. In a world where we trade with countries that do not espouse our values, we are tacitly saying that their form of government is not the issue but their goods and services are.
If in doubt, take the example from yesterday’s post in which Idaho water was diverted from farming to cobalt mining because of vested interests and who is in which pocket. I don’t see any reason to conscript young men — and now potentially also women — to put on a uniform to protect a commercial interest.
In Vietnam, there were no military or commercial interests. The war was a distraction from domestic strife over integration. Is there a reason to support such a war, or is it the job of journalists to make sure that the insanity is made public so that dissidence brings the transgressions to a halt?
Skillful Means
Returning to Julian Assange, I feel that the world had every right to know that the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan had nothing to do with weapons of mass destruction or revenge for terrorism. They had a right to know that not everything that happens during a war has anything to do with military objectives. Mowing down civilians in broad daylight is not a video game, but an event that leaves widows, orphans, and terror in the hearts of survivors. It leaves regret in soldiers who will never forget the day they crossed the line and brought shame on their nation. There is nothing valiant about abuse of power and the only national interest at risk is credibility.
So, I am elated that Julian Assange has finally been released and that he safely left U.S. territory in the South Pacific. The crowds around the court cheered him on, but he was silent, made no speeches, and headed straight to the airport and Canberra where his family is awaiting him. I pray all goes according to plan.
After so much limitation on his movements and incredible psychological and physical stress, I hope arrangements for his safety and comfort allow him to regroup his energy and focus . . . and that his family bonds become stronger than ever. The public has been incredibly supportive, and it being an election year, the positions on the charges against Assange were a subject of debate. Now, the lightning and thunder is gone, but we should remember what those running for office said before Assange’s freedom was finally achieved.
There is much more conflict to resolve, and the issues remain the same. What is reported is what those powers that be want people to see and believe. Independent journalism is hence hugely important. The reality of why so many lives have been sacrificed is hidden from view. Bless those who take risks to reveal the truth and pray for their safety.
There is so much going on in the world that I decided to take a little break from the essays on mold in order to cover one of the pressing issues facing all humanity at this time. Today’s post will be in two parts. The first is about food availability and safety. The second is about dietary options.
Though this is not the beginning of the assault, 500,000 acres of farm land in Idaho had their water shut off after planting the crops for 2024. The back story is that a deal was cut to provide the water to a cobalt mining firm. No consideration appears to have been given to the impact on the farmers, truckers, grocers, and consumers who were dependent on the crops being impacted.
In different forms, this is happening in many places, often without clear ecological, economic, and public considerations, in short: behind closed doors. According to one report, the unelected World Economic Forum that lacks any official enforcement status is pressuring countries to create famine. As of yesterday, there were 13 signatories, including the U.S. It is perhaps noteworthy that no Asian countries were listed, but otherwise, the geographic distribution was pretty much random.
Obviously, what will follow are food shortages, higher prices for what is available, and massive impacts on humanity and no doubt also pets.
After learning about colony collapse disorder, I started a website called landscaperevolution.com. The underlying idea was to provide safe flowers for pollinators which also involved planting hundreds of varieties of medicinal plants. I suffocated the lawn using a mixture of gardening strategies, one being the lasagna method. It involves laying down of cardboard and planting on top of the cardboard. The lawn will suffocate and decompose. The cardboard will also eventually disappear. This was combined with the Fukuoka permaculture philosophy of letting Nature have a say about what grows where. Initially, of course, I planted and mulched.
Wood chips are available for free here and over the years, I have had several deliveries that were used to create pathways between the gardens. I built a very small, heated greenhouse and several raised beds. My most exciting harvests were probably the humble potato.
This brings me to the point that Idaho is famous for potatoes. They are extremely easy to grow. Actually, they do not even really require “planting” as one can put them on the ground and little by little cover them with soil. They can also be grown in plastic bags, buckets, and containers of almost any type. The advantage of using bags is that harvesting is extremely easy.
It is a little late in the season for planting potatoes in some areas, but not too late for most places. Depending on the type of potato, harvesting may take 3-4 months and we probably still have enough sunlight ahead for this.
According to my Internet sleuthing, the U.S, has 40 million acres of lawns that constitute the largest irrigated crop in the country. In short, even if one only converts a small area, not everything as I did on my half acre, one is shifting the ecological balance while simultaneously enhancing food security and providing safe havens for pollinators.
If the truth be known, I was not born with a green thumb. I grew up in urban environments but did plant some pansies and watermelons as a child. In my early adult years, I lived in apartments and overseas in places that were temporary so I only really started to garden when leaving the State Department and settling in Hawaii. Then, I moved to Santa Fe and had to adjust from the tropics to high desert. Now, I am in the Pacific Northwest so this is the third exercise in coming to grips with a new environment. My skills are improving, but there is indeed a learning curve. This is why I mention potatoes because they really are easy to grow. Also, the flowers are pretty so it is joyful to watch the progress from sprouting potatoes to harvest.
The little town where I live is very conservative and conventional so neighbors would stand in front of my yard and gawk, but it seems my fever was not even slightly contagious.
Food Choices
When first becoming a vegetarian, my main opponent and critic was my mother. She was deeply offended as well as worried. She took my decision as a rejection of her parenting; and her researches suggested I would suffer from a B12 deficiency and become schizophrenic. Her doctor was on board with this theory, and they ganged up on me; but I had been posted with the State Department in India. There I met countless elderly and wise individuals who had never in their lives tasted meat. Several had marched with Gandhi and later convalesced on nothing but fresh coconut water/milk, and all seemed perfectly well balanced, intelligent, coherent, and healthy.
So, unlike those who “tried” to become vegetarians and thought they failed, I was very familiar with Indian food and was convinced it contained everything necessary to be both savory and conducive to graceful aging. It has been more than half a century now so it is surely safe to say that my faith has been rewarded.
What I learned when teaching Kitchen Doctor and counseling sick people about their diets is that almost nothing is more entrenched than dietary habits. These are often ethnic or cultural. That distinction may be based on tradition or modern conveniences. For example, Italians eat various kinds of pasta whereas Scandinavians like my mother might make spaghetti now and then as a change in routine, but certainly not as a mainstay. Modern may refer to people who rely on semi-prepared food that involves heating up something from a can or freezer. They snack on packaged food, often from vending machines, and have a vague knowledge of calories but very little understanding of vitality or the precise manner in which nutrients are utilized by the body.
The rubbish we learned in school about food groups is utter nonsense so people who are serious about health need to tackle an entirely new curriculum. The motivation for this often comes when ill and challenged just to maintain a level of efficiency in life. It may come from financial pressure or an “ah ha” experience in which one recognizes the deficiencies of the “normal” diet and gets serious about health and aging gracefully.
What I want to say today is that if the powers that be succeed in reducing methane by eliminating many animals, there are vegetarian alternatives that do not involve powdered insects and the other ingredients the powers that be would like to see on our plates. I am writing a flipbook on this as we speak so will not steal my own thunder; but the first step, I believe, is to use whole ingredients. For instance, we can all make soup so we do not need to open a can or carton that some factory threw together. We can cut our own onions, slice our own carrots and potatoes, cook our own lentils and beans, and, climate permitting, we can slow cook in a solar oven without paying for gas or electricity. In short, even if we are not paranoid about imminent starvation, we can be much more proactive and secure.
We can also make room for much more food diversity. Eating potato chips and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches is one way to eat, but we could be popping amaranth or lotus seeds and eating them instead of genetically modified popcorn.
Food can be grown in gardens, on window sills or walls, in pots or containers. I have seen estimates of the space required per person as low as 12 square feet to as high as 1.25 acres (half a hectare) for commercial farming. It obviously depends on what one is growing and where, but even way off the grid, one can survive IF one knows how.
If there is a positive response to this post, I will add to it. In the meantime, feel free to share this post with others.
Sorry for the delay posting this. I had planned to write on Sunday, but there was a power outage. I hope everyone who celebrated Father’s Day had an enjoyable time.
Now that we know how dangerous mold is, how does remediation begin? This depends a great deal on the extent of the damage and what was affected by the mold. There are companies with special decontamination warehouses where precious personal belongings can often be salvaged. Everything depends on the value to the owner, and this is sometimes measured in sentimental terms, not necessarily by the item’s monetary value.
The items least likely to recover from mold are those that had direct contact with the mold, meaning mold had begun to grow on the item . . . as contrasted to dry spores becoming airborne and landing on the item but not becoming vegetative. Soggy paper and books are unlikely to recover from major mold contamination, but if the pages are still in tact, there are ways to dry the paper and inhibit mold growth by use of essential oils. Currency, precious documents, and rare books may warrant this kind effort.
Once I was contacted by the owner of a house that had just been featured on the cover of an architectural magazine. She had many precious paintings and Persian rugs that were impacted so every strategy had to be tested to make sure that the product used would not damage the items. For the record, from time-to-time, I have accidentally spilled essential oil on beautiful hardwood floors, carpets, and books, and all survived without staining. They did retain the aroma for a long time, 2-3 years in the case of an ounce of clove bud oil that had a loose lid. This happened in my bedroom and was probably beneficial for my health since I inhaled it at a safe distance every night.
Timbuktu
Lemongrass is often used to preserve lumber and paper products. Recently, I spilled some on my desk and the aroma lasted about three weeks. I cannot say it was pleasant. It has insecticidal properties and can be quite irritating. However, if I owned antique editions of rare books, I would definitely consider keeping the books in a sealed container with lemongrass oil. This strategy is, in fact, how the Kingdom of Mali preserved its precious library.
Remediation
As mentioned in the last post, serious remediation should be handled by professionals and some building materials and furniture, especially padded chairs and sofas as well as mattresses and bedding, might not be salvageable. Insurance coverage obviously varies tremendously and who is responsible for what can be controversial but keep food on the table of the lawyers.
Having more than 20 years behind my own battle with mold and many interactions with other moldies, I can say unequivocally that if people understand the risks to themselves and other household members, including pets, they would move out. I know people whose houses were burned to the ground because nothing could be saved, but people can save themselves. I also know people who got stuck for years in unsafe dwellings or work places. In general, those who escaped had the best recovery experiences. This will be the topic for the next post. This said, if the property is remediated, it should be heavily diffused with essential oil before occupants return to their homes. I have formulated a blend that is safe for use, but it can be used full blast for weeks if the space is unoccupied. This would be the preferable strategy. Please keep in mind that regardless of the marketing pitch, the best one can do is to inhibit mold growth. One cannot really destroy the mold itself. One can relocate the mold, but it will survive in its new location, perhaps remaining dormant for years before the opportunity to become vegetative occurs.
Now we come to obstacles to cure over which we have a measure of control. Mold is the most dangerous of the hazards for a number of reasons, the first being that when vegetative, it is growing at the expense of whatever its food source might be. It may be eating wood or drywall, but it could be inside the body where it feasts on blood cells and tissues. It is seldom diagnosed correctly when inside the body; and proper protocols for recovery are rarely taught in medical schools. So where do we start?
Many properties — homes, schools, offices, concert halls, libraries, and other public buildings — are riddled with mold. Cars, air conditioners and HVAC systems, and probably even tents and restaurants can harbor mold. It is ubiquitous.
What I have seen over the years is that following a major weather event, many roofs have to be replaced; and there is a waiting list because of shortage of contractors. In the meantime, people may be collecting water in buckets, meaning that the attic, walls, carpets, furniture and much more were probably also impacted by the rain. Insurance companies are often quick to agree to replace the roof, but no attention is paid to the rest of the damage. Meanwhile, mold is feasting. It can be dormant, but it becomes active when there is moisture. Despite commercial claims to the contrary, it cannot be destroyed because it is protected by chitin, the same hard substance found in oyster shells. This is good for the planet but not for our health. Stated another way, if it were not for mold, waste would not be decomposed, and we would be up to the gills in rubbish. However, what we do not want is for mold to be active in our bodies, food, or living spaces.
The rule is that if there is mold, one can address it oneself if the area concerned is less than one square foot . . . and if one observes adequate safety precautions. If the roof leaks and the attic is flooded, the ceiling will surely be damaged along with walls, furnishings, and personal belongings. If the impacted area is large, remediation is a job for professionals; and, in most cases, the occupants and pets should vacate the premises while the work is performed. This may mean that if one is renting, the wisest decision would usually be to break the lease and find another place to live. If one owns the property, that is another story and likely to take a lot of effort and funds.
Water intrusion can occur for a number of reasons. There may be a hurricane or tornado, but there could also be deferred maintenance or a design failure. Lots of attention is often placed on clogged gutters, leaky pipes, and condensation due to temperature differences. That moisture may be conspicuous around windows but not perhaps behind bathroom mirrors or headboards. I know many mold victims who found mold behind pictures hanging on the wall behind their beds. Mold can also be found in most pillows that are more than 18 months old. The old world habit of airing bedding was an excellent preventative measure; but these days, most people rely on washers and dryers.
Here in the Pacific Northwest, mold is often found in crawl spaces, many of which are lethal.
How Do Mold Infections Occur
Mold is opportunistic. It has no independent means of movement, but is inherent in organic matter. Infection occurs by inhalation, ingestion, or sometimes open wounds. One person I knew had replaced moldy boards on a porch, and cut his knee which was in direct contact with the mold. He was deathly ill but did not know why until we went over all his actions at the time the symptoms first appeared.
We have all seen moldy food, usually most conspicuous in bread, fruit, and cheese, but almost anything organic can become moldy. Cutting away the visible mold is not generally safe because growth occurs by extending hyphae that may be microscopic but extend well beyond the visible mold. These hyphae are like hollow feeding tubes; and since mold has no stomach, digestion occurs in the hyphae.
When it comes to mold in buildings, the usual avenue of infection is inhalation. This requires that spores are airborne which is why proper maintenance of ventilation, heating, and cooling systems is important . . . and why protective gear, including serious respirators, is necessary when remediating a property.
General Comments
Not everyone is allergic to mold. In fact, only 25% of people are allergic, but absence of sneezing and other complaints is not proof of lack of infection. In general, the most damaging response to mold is thinking that the infection will somehow self-correct . . . or that next week, one might have enough stamina to tackle the challenges.
Neither property damage or infections will disappear without proper action so overcoming inertia is the first step. Sometimes, outside help is needed. Getting away from the mold may feel like a healthy reprieve; but regardless of the euphoria, the mold will need to be addressed . . . even if one moves to a safer place.
There are all kinds of mold “specialists” but my experience is that cure will take concerted effort, and this is what I will address in the next post.
Continuing the saga on removing the obstacles to cure, we have radiation: nuclear radiation, natural radiation from the sun and geological materials, and electromagnetic radiation (EMF). Radiation hence comes somewhere in between where we have no control to where we have considerable control, but the reality is much is not within our control.
Since the first testing of nuclear bombs in White Sands, New Mexico, we have lived with the threat of mushroom clouds and devastation. Remarkably, post Hiroshima and Nagasaki, this diabolical weapon has not been dropped on any additional targets; however, endless aerial and underground testing went on for years, and nuclear power plants have sprung up worldwide. We have all heard of the big disasters like Chernobyl and Fukushima, but there were many others, including the hushed up 1959 partial nuclear meltdown at Santa Susana Field Laboratory (California) and the 1979 Three Mile Island incident near Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. In addition, there have been thefts of radioactive materials, aerial releases of deadly plutonium, mishandling of highly toxic nuclear waste such as at Hanford, countless incidents in medical facilities where radioactive materials are used, and reckless use of radioactive materials by the military, medical profession, and even shoe shops.
When the first bombs were dropped, medical assessments, much after the fact and still continuing to this day, were mainly focused on the intensity of the heat. DNA had not yet come onto the horizon. As time passed, my personal view is that what is dangerous is the instability so there can be a horrific and violent explosion or a very subtle and insistent release over long periods of time depending on the rate of decay of the parent substance into a stable form.
Meanwhile, for those with a little imagination, it is not absurd to think of the decay that is emitted as maverick and the lucky unpaired particles as pirates. In the halls of ivy, the disintegration is measured in half lives, but what happens physiologically? Basically, the effects are random but some particulates will be excreted, some will cause damage to the body, and some will cause death. We reduce the risk by consuming radioprotective foods and herbs that are high in antioxidants. Highest on the ORAC scale is haritaki, a sub-Himalayan plant that can be found throughout South and Southeast Asia. To be fair, sangre de grado (dragon’s blood) does have a higher ORAC rating, but its use is generally limited to emergencies, such as bleeding. It has saved my life more than once, and I believe it should be in every medicine cabinet. I also carry it in my shoulder bag so it is always within reach.
EMF
Electromagnetic pollution is ubiquitous and almost inescapable but communities are springing up where strict prohibition of wireless devices and cell towers will be enforced. One such example is being developed in Nicaragua. It is called Intentional Sanctuary Lifestyle Alternative (ISLA). This is part of their announcement:
Cell phones, WiFi, wireless mice and keyboards, AirPods, smart watches, wireless printers, and all other wireless devices will be prohibited in public and private spaces throughout the property.
For those of us living modern lives, complete avoidance of EMF is probably impossible. We are exposed to cell towers, cell phones, and the routers used by neighbors whether we like it or not. The solution is once again to minimize exposure and consume antioxidant-rich foods and herbs. Many of these foods will be quite colorful: deep purples and reds, yellows and orange, and some greens.
Since this is an ongoing series, please be patient until the next installment is ready to post.
May 26, 2024 Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness
It being a holiday, the series on detoxification will yield to some reflections on violence. Health concerns will continue in the next post.
As a pacifist, I am against all wars and all forms of hostile interaction with others. I do not believe that anyone, whether a president or king or emperor, has any right to oblige others to do his bidding much less to take risks on behalf of the state . . . nor to face punishment for refusal to perform deeds that violate the interests of the individual. How else should we interpret the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness?
Turning back to the sixties and seventies, the Vietnam War was framed as retaliation for an event, the so-called Gulf of Tonkin incident. We now know that no such event took place. In reality, based on classified documents, the “Vietnam Conflict” was a distraction from domestic issues surrounding integration. Sometimes, what is observed by boots on the ground never climbs the ladder high enough to get the attention of the brass or president. However, in the case of Vietnam, it was Lyndon Johnson who gave the order to write thirteen lies. Then, he would choose which one to propagate.
Somewhere between two and three million people — combat troops and civilians — died for the twisted synapses in the brains of psychopaths promoting the Vietnam War. Countless additional people were widowed or orphaned or lost sons for absolutely no justifiable reason.
When propaganda is used to promote heinous ambitions, some people are swayed by the arguments, but as trillions are spent to enlarge the scope of the aggression, people start to catch on and become protestors and dissidents.
The Flower Children played an important role in bringing the conflict in Vietnam to an end. We now see a revival of this passion in the crescendo of world disapproval of the Netanyahu Regime. As with most treachery, dealing from the bottom of the deck is the last resort of scoundrels, but playing the anti-Semitic card is not working because the humanitarian issues far outweigh whatever nightmares people have of persecution and injustice.
I don’t want to go too deeply into the politics and atrocities. My purpose today is to focus on proper means for conflict resolution. In this situation, it appears that sane and mature minds have used the institutional means available to insist on a civilized solution to the conflict. If this can happen in the Middle East, it can happen anywhere.
In Korea and in Vietnam, there was no ethnic or religious card to play. Both were essentially Buddhist countries with small minority populations. The communist card is then played to the hilt . . . as we see now in Ukraine. However, political and economic systems are no more the issue than religion . . . since the underlying issue is the abuse of power and misdirected ambition.
This is much more conspicuous in the conflict in Ukraine than in the other examples cited. It does not matter whether one takes sides or simply observes: neither side has exhibited political expertise nor battlefield acumen. In reality, in my opinion, Russia had a lot of reasons for concern as the bioweapons laboratories were placed along the border between the two countries, but these issues could also be documented and presented to international courts. They were not a secret since the U.S. Embassy in Kiev posted the locations on their website. In short, there is no reason to kill innocent people in order to dismantle the laboratories.
Does paranoia underlie the Russian initiative? Anyone who studies the history of Lab 247 on Plum Island where Lyme disease is believed to have originated ought to see that Russia’s concerns are legitimate. However, legitimate means must be used to shut down the illegitimate operations.
As for territorial ambitions, a simple plebiscite would solve the problem. Has the situation in Ukraine finally reached critical mass? If it has not, critical mass must be very close. However, the country cannot be put back together again whereas a Palestinian solution would allow co-existence if all parties would accept it.
Allowing or encouraging expatriation is another matter entirely. It puts pressure on other countries to accept refugees, and this has financial and cultural repercussions.
Both capitalism and communism have the tendency to obliterate the roots that are part of our identity. It serves their ambitions to homogenize people and to assign them to whatever tasks they wish. This interferes with important psychospiritual processes that are crucial to shaping our identity as individuals and as souls. As such, capitalism, even when masquerading as a form of freedom, is actually just as atheistic as communism in that divine inspiration, and the aspirations that should arise from the inspiration, are unseated by the goals of the moguls at the helm.
Many people today are uneasy because they cannot see around the corner and are uncertain of the outcome of all the changes that are occurring geopolitically and financially. What I see is that the reign of the bullies is being choked by the banding together of those who have an axe to grind. There are many events occurring almost simultaneously, such as regrouping of alliances, revamping of an obsolete financial system, and a post-colonial revival of opportunities for those who were exploited for centuries. Concomitant with these movements, there is a quest for truth that begins with dismantling of propaganda and will entail much rewriting of textbooks and history as the truth surfaces. All of this is occurring under the nightmarish specter of artificial intelligence, to which all parties have almost equal access. This means that anyone can game out any strategy to explore the outcome. This has risks as well as the potential for optimizing results that are beneficial to everyone.
Many are asking what will happen to the U.S. since it obviously cannot persist without significant changes. I had predicted back in the 60s (in an interview for a Hawaiian newspaper) that the U.S. would become a post-industrial agrarian society. That was before the days of GMOs so the question today is what kind of agriculture will be practiced in the future? I hope there are a million or more family and community organic farms that bring us back into relationship with Nature and restore health for all those who have lived for decades without really experiencing optimal vitality and mental clarity.
Am I sad for those who lost their lives for worthless causes? Am I sad for the families of those who miss their sons? Yes, of course. It is a pity to have missions in life that are aborted because of the ambitions of those with power, but we will reincarnate and try to complete our destinies no matter how long it takes. In the meantime, we must improve opportunities by granting the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of whatever brings us true happiness.
May 19, 2024 The Sequence of Regeneration
As many of you know, I had the great good fortune to have had a lovely relationship with Morrnah Simeona back in the 1970s and early 80s. She was a Hawaiian kahuna lapa’au and made a very deep and lasting impression on me. One of her most important transmissions was that before healing can occur, the obstacles to cure must be removed. These obstacles can be physical, such as repeated exposure to toxic substances or life style and eating habits that interfere with wellness. They can also be psychospiritual and involve the people and choices we make in life. Today, I would like to take up the very first step of physical issues that need to be conquered before we can be healthy, this however in the context of Ayurveda wisdom since it is the system of medicine with which I am most familiar.
In my many years of writing and teaching, I have found that use of foreign words often interferes with communication so the underlying ideas are lost due to the vocabulary used. Ayurveda has a complex literature containing thousands of Sanskrit terms, most of which have no English equivalent because the underlying concepts are not recognized by modern medicine. So, I am going to go very light on my readers by avoiding use of unfamiliar words.
The starting point for regeneration is what we generally call plasma though the Ayurvedic understanding is just a little broader. What we think of as blood is actually a combination of plasma and blood cells of various types. Plasma is straw colored and the other components of blood, such as the hemoglobin in erythrocytes, give blood its red color. The plasma is the nutrient soup for the blood cells and it needs to be of a quality that supports vitality and longevity.
In the post sent only to subscribers, I provided a link to a list of all that must be detoxified before we can heal completely. Of these, my personal view is that fungi, both yeast and mold, are the most critical because they can be vegetative, meaning that they are not just feasting on the nutrients intended for the host but also consuming tissues. Very few people know whether or not they have a fungal infection, but I have had the experience of seeing this in darkfield microscopy when consulting in Europe. I had a massive infection myself after a flood in my house due to faulty installation of a washing machine. It took several years to recover completely, and my condition was pathetic before conquering this obstacles to health.
There is a lot of Internet chatter on parasites; and, like fungi, they can be found in the plasma as well as elsewhere in the body. Most are quite easy to eliminate, but the source must be considered. For instance, many parasites have vectors, like mosquitoes, so the risk of infection is greater in warm, humid regions of the planets, such as tropical jungles. Parasites can be a risk for farm workers and people who handle food or eat food that is not hygienic, such as raw sushi that was not cleaned properly. The bottom line here is that repeated exposure to risks means that reinfection and retreatment can be ongoing.
To make this as clear as possible, people may go on a safari and come home with some unwelcome symptoms and issues. Once these are cleared up, recurrence is unlikely unless there is a new risk factor. However, if one lives in the tropics, repeated infections are more than likely. These are not necessarily what some would call relapses; they are new infections from new bites. For those who like trivia, malaria has been the number one killer throughout recorded Earth history, and I know people who have had recurrent bouts of malaria more than 40 times. It is extremely easy to prevent as well as to treat with herbs, but people have to know about this and have access to the herbs.
There are many types of parasites, and they can be microscopic or enormous, like tapeworms. They can also domicile almost anywhere in the body . . . and they are an obstacle to cure.
Dengue fever and chikungunya are also transmitted by mosquitoes, but they are viral, not parasitic, and the protocols for treatment are different.
Toxic metals are something more and more people are recognizing as threats. For years, many people have been exposed to mercury through vaccines and dental procedures. We have also been exposed to lead through petroleum products and paint, aluminum through food packaging and cookware and later chemtrails. The list of toxic metals is quite long, but post-Covid, many have become concerned about graphene. Countless protocols exist for removing toxic metals, but it takes commitment and periodic evaluation to assess the progress.
What I see in darkfield microscopy is that unlike fungi and parasites that are living and feasting, the issue with metals is inference with electromagnetic functions of the body. This is lethal for white blood cells so no one with a burden of toxic metals can expect to have satisfactory immunity. While some people can self-direct chelation, most will benefit from the assistance of properly trained health care professionals. This is usually the case, even with fungi and parasites, but toxic metal tests usually require some signatures.
These three categories for detoxification share the common denominator that we have only partial control over our exposure. The next group of issues are much more closely related to our life styles so we have more choices and hence more control. I will address these in the next post.
May 12, 2024 In Celebration of the Mother
People are busy today paying homage to their mothers and grandmothers. Finding the right message eluded me; but we have been having quite a show of dazzling colors and this very short film may remind you of what an extraordinary Planet this is and what a privilege it is to live here.
First of all, I would like to thank everyone who supports my writing through donations and paid subscriptions. It touches my heart and inspires me to make effort when the winds are challenging.
However I have a problem; and it has been getting worse, not better. Unless subscribers keep their Substack credit card information up-to-date, payments can be d…
May 5, 2024 Fight Fire with Fire or Foresight
My muse seems to be on holiday but thanks to some very stimulating correspondence with a special lady, a spark was kindled!
With all the tensions in the world, along with millions of others, I have been urging sending love to the places where there is war, danger, famine, disaster, poverty, and illness. To be honest, it jarring when the talking heads say the military is the only way. Ideally, we would not have any need for militaries, but then the Earth itself would have to have more mature people at the helm. Until reaching this point, the military should be a deterrent, not an aggressor. Meanwhile, I see more and more humanitarian initiatives and achievements. Keep it up!
Fire is one of the elements of manifestation. Without it, we would not have vision much less see colors, not be able to keep warm, not have the passion to overcome injustices, and probably not be able to visualize the future. In short, we need it and should learn how to manage it and eventually to appreciate it.
In my experience, duking it out never solved any problem. If anything it guarantees that the bullies will prevail over the sages.
So, let’s try to understand the fire element. First of all, it does obviously provide both warmth and color. Secondly, it defends against attacks on the self which may be insults or affronts to one’s self esteem and the value one attaches to the self based on might, rights, virtues, talents, and whatever allegiances one has which can be as simple as a school sports team or as complex as one’s ethnic, religious, political, and other affiliations.
Fire is loyal, supportive of its members and usually friendly where the interests are trustworthy and aligned. It is not necessarily hostile to those outside its circle, but it can be provoked and become impassioned.
In its most untamed form, fire is unbridled, carried away by zeal, and perhaps dangerous. In this state, it is too polarized to acknowledge any point of view but its own and is prone to take action on behalf of what it believes is right. Charismatic leaders have taken advantage of this most primitive expression of fire and used polarity to advance their own ambitions. Cemeteries are full of coffins with victims of this misuse of fire.
In a little more civilized situation, parties in conflict could discuss, search for the best solution, and perhaps agree to arbitration if there is no meeting of the minds. This does not guarantee that “right” will prevail, merely that tensions will be handled without recourse to bullying.
Majority rules also does not guarantee a just outcome since people are polarized so one group may never accept the edicts of the majority. The point here is not to babble about the obvious but to bring forward the idea that fire is not about polarity but about the impact on the future when wrong prevails over right.
Now, come to the next level of fire which is visionary and wants to lead into the future. Whether one is gifted with clairvoyance or some other form of extrasensory perception, when the vitality of fire has been constructively handled in a way to bring energies into balance, the future will be harmonious.
Physiologically, fire tends to concentrate in liver which eventually becomes hot and dry and then hypofunctioning. People who hide their anger are not exempt because they tend to forfeit justice in favor of avoiding confrontation. So, just about everyone can benefit from liver cleansing, at least every five years but more often if hot-tempered, alcoholic, or in the habit of hiding unpleasant feelings.
The herbs and foods that help the liver are mostly bitter and these can vary from culinary use of dandelion or arugula to my favorite which is artichokes. Green smoothies and juices are very helpful, but every now and then, it behooves us to go on an intentional cleanse for two to four months. My Liver Tune Up was developed for this, but there are many herbs that can be used, just be sure the quality is impeccable!
As toxins are released, there may be some irritation so start slowly. Over a period of days or weeks, the psyche ought to feel more balanced, vision will probably improve, especially if floaters are an issue. Long-term, people with feel less volatile and more capable of handling differences amicably.
Meanwhile, when upset by the news or prone to label someone else as pro this and anti that, try to send waves of peace and harmony so as to avoid conflagration.
There was quite a bit of private correspondence after the last two posts so a sequel seems in order. To make it coherent, the concept of entrainment needs to take center stage. We are told that the Universe(s) came into being because the Creator meditated and then produced sound. Everything that “is” exists because of sound, and sound shapes the etheric substance that is the matrix for the visible world. In my view, and it is strictly my own understanding, there is a partner in Creation who calibrates the precipitation of sound so we have a radiatory force, yang, and a magnetic force, yin, that together organize sound and rhythm.
Once we grasp the role of sound, caution and wisdom dictate that we exercise discernment over our exposures to sound. One of my pet peeves is nerdy podcasters who claim to be functioning in sixth dimension whose soundtrack is ear shattering and dissonant. In short, there is a serious credibility issue regarding the claims because the law of entrainment brings one into alignment with the strongest force field. Thus, loud, jarring noise, even if it masquerades as music, is not conducive to alignment with higher sources of inspiration.
We need to take the time to connect some dots. The Creator’s Sound is the Divine Score for all existence; and it will entrain everything sooner or later. It is therefore the foundation for genuine consciousness as well as the understanding that issues from glimpses into higher realms. Ultimately, it is the guarantee that all will reunite with the Source of all, i.e., no one will fail to align. One can use whatever terminology fits one’s belief system, but if salvation is ever in doubt, the understanding of entrainment allows us to put that concern aside. However, this occurs at a slower or faster pace depending in part on where we choose to be influenced by sound.
We humans have a physical design that only allows us to hear in a limited range, more or less ten octaves, from 20 to 20,000 Hz. When we cannot actually hear something, it is often possible to feel the vibration. As the science of cymatics has shown us, all vibrations tend to create a particular organization or pattern so this is another argument for discernment.
The experiments conducted in this video are interesting, but knowing what he does, why add an annoying soundtrack?
Cymatic therapy, sound therapy, and music therapy are overlapping disciplines, but my expertise is in the areas of music therapy. Besides the importance of the choice of music, there are additional factors to consider such as the quality of the performance, volume, and appeal . . . which is a complex topic in its own right since people are exposed to a variety of types of music, but the mainstream thrust has, in my opinion, taken upon itself to undermine our connection to Source by subjecting us to endless low vibration propaganda and noise.
Though I, of course, have my views, an argument can be made for predictability. On the physical level, we depend on predictability. Certain people crave adventure, excitement, and even risk, but this obviously works in opposition to the preferences of the body itself. At the end of work or study, some people may want to cut loose and others to rest or relax. These are personality traits but the body still wants safety.
In my many years of study of various aspects of sound and music, I have not seen any scientific experiments with syncopation, but Dr. John Diamond concluded it is harmful. I know many people who feel that jazz helps them to unwind as well as professional musicians who love the freedom and challenges of performing with other musicians. So, I will put this out there and you can consider what feels best for you.
I might also propose that endless repetition is monotonous and ultimately not constructive. You have to judge for yourself when the repetition is fatiguing rather than ennobling.
Meanwhile, I would like to return to the beginning, our hearing. The highest note that we can allegedly hear happens to be my favorite, Eb, which is right up there at the top of the alleged audible range: 19912.13 Hz.
There are many octaves of vibration, obviously going all the way to Source, but we have organs of perception so we hear in certain frequency ranges and see in one range, the 49th octave. This does not mean that what we perceive as color lacks sound, merely that our organs of perception are limited to certain frequencies.
Here is a rare performance that most of you will recognize.
April 21, 2024 Clearing the Path to Divine Inspiration
This post is a sequel to the previous one on committing to opening to spiritual awareness. There was an even earlier precursor that is actually a quite important read and is extremely practical.
There are forces that aspire to benefit from our spiritual ignorance so the interference with the functioning of our normal methods of perception is intentional and requires countermeasures if we are to overcome the obstacles. Meanwhile, I will meander a bit and hopefully lay a foundation for accessing what is meant to be part of the normal human apparatus for higher awareness.
The issue, as detailed in the aforementioned post is that fluoride is a highly toxic chemical that has countless adverse effects on health, but from a spiritual perspective, the main issue is calcification of the pineal gland. The risks depend on the level of exposure to fluoride which includes whether or not one’s water supply is fluoridated and several other factors such as the toothpaste used and dental procedures performed. There are additional sources of exposure such as packaged food and cookware. Some people have had many years of exposure to fluoride and some have had very little exposure.
If you read the previous post, you will see that what we eat makes a huge difference. During my recent health challenge, I had a number of very unusual visions and realized that some of my downtime was important to new understandings regarding how the projected changes would occur on Earth. I was not hungry at all but surprisingly did not lose weight. I had been drinking mostly pineapple juice and eating organic nori from Korea. When, I finally made my very first meal, it was sweet potatoes and asparagus with tamarind sauce that I get from an Indian online market.
The nori felt very protective and the tamarind was absolutely delicious so I just ordered three more bottles. Think of it as an alternative to ketchup since the thickness and packaging is similar, but it can also replace or be added to mayonnaise or a dipping sauce. I mixed mine with some ghee which is very beneficial for both red and white blood cells.
Since the practical steps for decalcifying are very well covered in the post from March last year, I am going to put the emphasis in today’s post on why most people in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Latin America, the Arabian Peninsula, and parts of Europe and Africa need to consider decalcifying the pineal gland.
We are divine creations but realizing this on the conscious level is difficult if the signals are not transmitting clearly to the incarnate being. Yes, we all have distractions and deliberate interferences designed to dumb us down, but the extent of the interference varies enormously from one individual to another. Therefore, for some people, the turning point often comes in a dramatic near death experience or sometimes through drug use.
However, the option I have presented is to dedicate effort to recovering full functionality of the pineal gland. Allow the process to take however long it takes which can be weeks or perhaps many months. As with all new protocols, it is probably safer to start slowly rather than to rush the process. For this, I developed two products. One is simply Tamarind Extract and the other is called Ayur DeCalc. As explained, if one is consuming tamarind as a refreshing beverage or condiment, the bottled herbs are not necessary, but if we skip a few days of intake of tamarind in food form, the herbs are convenient.
Pursuit of Spiritual Influence
In the last post, the emphasis was on maturation of the intent to pursue a more spiritual approach to life. Personally, I believe this is valuable for everyone, but it is especially important if one has suffered setbacks and losses that are soaking up emotional vitality. It is, of course, practical for those who are elderly or ill because what happens when we leave our bodies is seldom well understood, but ideally we should be as free of fear as possible.
There is a divine guidance system. It originates with sound which is the matrix of all manifestation. Sound shapes the etheric body and is hence deeply important to our existence so we should be protective by discerning which sounds are permissible in our lives and which are inappropriate. As you know, I often post music videos, sometimes because they are exquisite and occasionally because they are entertaining.
We need to think in terms of hearing ranges. Humans tend to hear sound in the 20 to 20,000 Hz range, but we know that dogs hear higher pitched sounds that we do not hear at all. It is cetaceans that have the highest hearing range. Actually, I will tell a little story that is actually relevant to this post.
I wanted to meet my soul group. This is often a group of about 1000 very closely related beings. I assumed they are all humans but when I made contact, it was a dolphin who greeted me. I was surprised and he noticed right away. He said, “Humans aren’t all they are cracked up to be.” I explored more and more and actually only found one other human besides myself. This was someone very well known in history for sharing similar interests as mine. This is to be expected because all are members of the same soul group so the question arises as to the common goals of the other members because the inference is that we are intimately related to countless kingdoms. It has always bothered me when people recount their out of body experiences and there are no representatives from other species, but I did not expect my soul group to consist mainly of other species.
In contrast, I had an amazing experience years ago when my hostess insisted that I allow a psychic to open my Akashic Records. It began with me as a seven-year old in India with a pet rabbit and my attention and resonance was 100% absorbed from the first word to the last. Every single incident recounted was relevant not just to that incarnation but to everything I understood about myself. Of course, the reading was not just about the child and the rabbit. The psychic was reading from a book, verbatim, and this was an extremely detailed account of one particular lifetime that has had repercussions through numerous subsequent lives.
It is, I believe, “normal” to be able to connect with one’s group just as it is normal to be able to hear what is being transmitted from higher dimensions. It is not perhaps as normal to access the Akashic Records, but many have had this experience.
If I were to make a few suggestions as to what kinds of sound will most assist the alignment with Source, I would say that listening to high notes is preferable to ramping up the base. Secondly, complex melodies help to develop discernment of nuances. The emphasis should be on the way the notes are connected because Source streams but does not really calibrate. That is the task of the Divine Feminine so listen to music you enjoy but at a comfortable volume until your sensitivity to nuances develops to a higher and higher level. Then, set aside the time to align and be receptive.
April 19, 2024 Stepping onto the Path
These days, there is a lot of talk about Earth changes, expanded awareness, often stated in dimensional terms, and containing the promise of becoming more spiritual . . . as opposed to materialistic. One can certainly see this trend as well as countless shadows that would suggest that not everyone is riding this wave. There are “traditional” ways that people have for thousands of years prepared to ascend; and there are some New Age methods that, on surface, would seem less arduous.
They say, every journey begins with a first step. In this instance, the desire to align with spirit usually wells up inside oneself and foments the decision to take the steps. In the ancient systems, this journey often involved formal commitments, usually encompassing efforts to perfect oneself and sometimes to abstain from certain activities and habits that were considered as interferences with one’s spiritual progress. In my early days, I felt that Asia was the repository of wisdom, but what some cultivated under the guidance of master was seldom the norm in the West where a lot of karmic credits were earned by good deeds. The level of charitable endeavor is truly highly developed in much of the West; but, in recent centuries, there have been relatively few credible places where one could safely entrust guidance on the journey to an individual who had developed the understanding of a sage. This has been changing rapidly in the last century or more; but, of course, there are many paths and some are inherently much safer than others.
Still, we must put the emphasis where it belongs and this is on intention. Before one can take that first step, the intention must mature and only then can the journey begin.
What happens on this journey? First, one starts to see events on a wider screen. Instead of focusing on the details of one’s personal experiences, one takes in more characters and nuances. Eventually, one is no longer the center of one’s dramas but an observer of a collection of forces acting out one script in an Earth theater. Examination of the details might give rise to questions about the most positive role one can play. Inevitably, this will involve harmonization of as many discordant influences as possible. One becomes a peacemaker, a protector of the most vulnerable, and actively engaged in the journey of the soul.
This can be achieved without sitting cross-legged, without mumbling mantras and shuffling beads, and without a guru. Of course, it is always helpful to have the guidance of someone much further along on the Path, but what we are seeing on a very large scale today, particularly in the West, is that contemplation, reflection, and receptivity are seldom the specific tools of the traveler. One may choose, for instance, to participate in gatherings of large groups who are celebrating a celestial event or taking the initiative to activate a certain sacred place on Earth.
Intent
My goal today is not to compare ancient and modern or Eastern and Western but simply to put the emphasis on intent. Before one embarks on the journey of self-perfection, one must orient oneself to the goal. Then, besides the many good deeds that may be performed, one is forever perfecting oneself. Many people are satisfied with who they seem to be; others are aware of possibilities for self-improvement. There is no specific starting point, but if someone were asking me for advice, I would say that the first step is harmlessness. What one does should not hurt anyone else. This is a very broad statement; and in my case includes 100% opposition to violence, war, and capital punishment. I believe society has a responsibility for protecting its citizens so it can isolate those who pose a danger to others; but it cannot execute them.
This example is broad since it suggests a societal policy and not a personal conquest of one’s anger, hostility, frustration, blame, and instincts for self-defense that often seem perfectly normal. These emotions are held in the solar plexus chakra which is fiery. Mastering one’s fire means having the maturity to consider different perspectives and goals, renouncing threats, and using one’s fire to develop far-sightedness, understanding, and leadership potentials. I am not suggesting that one adjust to injustices nor that anyone endure hardships in a passive way. In many cases, walking away is a personal solution but one must not hold onto thoughts of wishing harm on anyone. This is obviously a very big undertaking, perhaps Herculean for those who have suffered enormously as is the case where there is war, poverty, injustice, indifference, and highly personal losses and affronts to one’s dignity and sovereignty. One seldom manages to banish the pain and emotions because there are seemingly random flashbacks that sneak up on us; but until we are harmless, we are not safe for others.
As mentioned in many previous posts, my experience is that memories go back hundreds of incarnations, and there are feelings associated with events in the past that have parallels in the present. Yes, many will say but all the events actually took place simultaneously. That is true on a certain level, but we live on a 3D planet in which time is linear. In another dimension, there is perhaps only the now but we have past, present, and future on a planet that is affected by time and space.
So, will the future be different from the present? This depends on what is perfected between now and that future date. Today, we easily see the sharp contrasts between what different factions regard as the appropriate course of action in any given situation. Until those who embrace harmlessness prevail over those who seem to believe that might makes right, we will have imbalances and pain and suffering.
Much pain is highly personal. Unfortunately, it very often begins in dysfunctional families; but it is also inflicted upon us by corrupt plutocrats who profit from the harm they do to others. In short, while essentially optimistic, I know that there are still huge problems. However, the wave has momentum, and many people are on their Paths while others are flirting with the ramifications of revamping their priorities and reorienting towards the divine. My experience is that this is a solitary process to the extent that no one else can really go deep enough inside another person to shift that person’s alignments; but in today’s world, very few will choose the degree of isolation typical in the past so there is today a group process that probably produces different results for each person.
What happens if one progresses on the path of personal perfection? Sometimes, all one feels is a deeper sense of peace and composure; but some people are given blessings along the way: insights, extended perceptions, opportunities to make contact with sages, to travel to other places in the Universe, to gather with kindred spirits. Insight infers a flash from a higher dimension that registers on the conscious self. Extended perceptions involve development of the higher octaves of existing senses like hearing becomes clairaudience and seeing becomes clairvoyance. However, there are nuances within each sense. For instance, does one see auras? details with the aura? the inside of bodies and how they function? beings that are invisible to most people? One should be very grateful if rewarded with such a gift.
In my experience, the more faithful one is to the process of alignment and self-perfection, the deeper one’s appreciation becomes for the complexity of Earth existence and the opportunities that are afforded if one makes the commitment to the journey of the soul.
April 15, 2024 Magnetic and Radiatory
Over the last few days, I have had numerous discussions with various colleagues about memory and why it cannot transform itself. There are some vague parallels between our memories and how a computer works. A lot of files are stored on your computer, but you have to open one to view it. Then, if authorized, you might make changes in the original file. Likewise, memories hold center stage when they are activated. Someone mentions a trip to Tahiti and raptures on about the water, the dancers, the flowers, and the warmth of the local people. You conjure up memories that have elements in common with those of your friend. The subject changes, the memory vanishes from active consciousness and will not come up again unless there is another comparable catalyst.
This example is a benign type of social exchange that can occur many times a day if you are gregarious or less frequently, perhaps, if you are less interactive with others. When a memory is traumatic, it can be dormant for so long that one “forgets” the event occurred. Maybe one thinks the issues surrounding the event are completely resolved so that particular memory vault is empty, but this is not the case. One can say that the memory was tucked away but definitely not forgotten.
One does not know what will cause a memory to surface. Maybe it is a scene in a film, perhaps something in the news, or often something involving a family member or friend. As I have stated in other posts, memories of events that took place in past lives are in the vaults of the presently incarnate person, and very often, the same feelings, fears, expectations, and traumas are expected to recur. When the feelings stir, it is the perfect time for serious therapy; and, since memory cannot transform itself, one actually does need a therapist.
I am not going repeat some of the examples used in previous posts. My goal today is to tie this idea into the current world geopolitical scene and consider deeply the ramifications of the violence, fear, injuries, and insecurity that are pervasive, not only in war zones but wherever there is a challenge to survival whether due to poverty, famine, illness, or deprivation of any type.
Perhaps because of the passion for violence, many cults have dramatized bravery, heroism on the battlefield, and even promised rewards in the afterlife. How will the emotional self process the wounds, losses of lives, sacrifices, and dare I add, the folly of following orders.
When people asked me about the recent eclipses, I compared this eclipse to the Gulf of the Tonkin and then the Flower Children Movement because once we see there is no real glory in killing fellow human beings, there is nothing more to say. I was in Vietnam from late 1966 to mid-1968. I sometimes thought, “How will they ever make a movie about this?” There were wounded children, orphans, parents in tears, and people risking their lives for nothing, for absolutely nothing.
These wounds are deep, and what I am saying today is that they are more or less permanent until something happens to transform the way the experience was recorded at the time. Emotional labels are affixed to the events, and how they are viewed is very personal and persuasive.
For argument’s sake, let’s say half the world thinks the “good guys” ought to rise to the occasion and finish off the “bad guys”. The rest of the world wants the leaders to come to the senses and end the insanity. You think the widows and orphans are going to forgive those who killed husbands and fathers? I will argue, not in this lifetime, not in the next, and not until a point comes when one is willing to dig in the unconscious and do really serious therapy.
What happens in therapy? A skilled therapist guides the subject through memories until a point comes when healing occurs. I use a combination of astrology and music to facilitate the transformation. Others have other techniques. There is no one therapy that better or worse, but the therapist must be skilled and avoid becoming tangled up in the drama.
I still want to keep this focused as much as possible on the current world situation because it is a tinderbox with the potential for very serious consequences.
For peace to prevail, everyone must resolve to find non-violent solutions for all issues. This can involve conferring with our most spiritually inspired sages, the most senior statesmen, the most idealistic independent thinkers and visionaries, and those with the most generous and humanitarian goals for the future. There is no room for ambition. To change the trajectory from might makes right to peace will be the beginning of a new era in which creativity can be expressed without hindrances.
In the meantime, I want to reiterate that every injustice perpetrated on others will probably take many lifetimes to rebalance so think about whether revenge and violence are worth it.
Who knows what the air waves will carry by the time this post is sent, but it must be clear to all civilized human beings that diplomacy must replace aggression. Every single person deserves the right to unfold his or her precious life in safety, knowing that nothing violent or unjust will thwart his or her existence. All who deny this are in error so none of their attempts to justify their actions are valid if they do not obey the edict that “Thou shalt not kill.”
Everyone understands that after Israel’s completely savage and illegal attack on the Iranian consulate, there would be repercussions. What options were there? One example of how diplomacy can be used instead of drones is that Iran and its allies could cut off all oil exports to Israel and to those supporting its genocidal activities. Shipping lanes can also be blocked, as is occurring but not on the scale that is possible.
When a bully throws his weight around, the best solution is to isolate him. Cut him off completely from society. However, if society truly wishes to be harmonious, it should restore the curriculum on ethics and expose many more people to martial arts so that they learn to manage their testosterone without being a threat to others. Learn to be protectors and defenders of the weak.
If the people of a country do not support the actions of their politicians and generals, it is time for a change of leadership. We need to know the allegiances of those who seek high positions and whether or not they can be trusted with the power they seek.
Lest I am unclear, I do not support any form of violence nor any form of predatory or covetous action. So, I do not support genocide and I do not support drones. I support safety for all and peace for all living creatures.
Thank you for your many kind wishes while I was out of commission. The short version is that the grocery store was under renovation; and the proper safety measures, including sealing off the dusty and dirty parts from all who were not properly trained for working in such conditions were ignored. I became ill almost instantly with a very high fever. It was a long haul.
Meanwhile, I have been saving this aria for a long time. The short list had about eight sopranos from relatively new divas to Teresa Berganza and Monserrat Caballé, but this is my favorite. Enjoy!
My intention was to write about oral health, but I started running a fever last Monday so am not on schedule. Whatever you do during an eclipse intensifies the effect. Think about what is important! I will be back on board soon.
There are many variations of the farm to table concept. The “farm” might be only 12-20 square feet or perhaps just a window sill garden; but it could be an urban food forest on a relatively small lot or hundreds of acres where workers and their families enjoy the fruits of their labors and the excess is made available to members, the general public, or perhaps delivered to local restaurants and hospitals.
Motivations for growing one’s own food also vary. Those with green thumbs enjoy working in the garden. Some people may be concerned about what they are buying when they shop for groceries. Health may be a strong motivator, but fear of scarcity can also play a powerful role in planning for survival in a ever more confusing world.
As mentioned in a post last June, I used to be involved in Kirlian photography. When a leaf is first harvested, it has a very even aura that is perfectly symmetrical but with each passing day, the lines droop and flop and eventually vanish. For all intents and purposes, we can view the aura as the vital part of life. We all live inside auras: plants, animals, and people. It is the scaffolding upon which the rest of 3D reality is manifested. It can be juxtaposed, scattered, or dissipated by exposure to frequencies that are antipathetic to life. In such cases, weakness might be the first symptom, but if we limit our concern to food, then storage results in depletion of vitality. Yes, some chemicals and calories remain, but the prana is gone. So, we do really experience a difference when food is fresh. Most people will notice a significant difference in taste also. Fresh food tends to taste good without having to jazz it up with ketchup and mustard and so on and so forth.
It goes without saying that every property and climatic zone is different so how space is used depends on a blend of creativity and practicality. In most cases, people will want to grow what they want to eat and/or to share with others.
Many people have been hugely successful growing their own food in deserts as well as deep snow. Greenhouses or enclosed sunroom provide more elbow room than a window sill, but all are meet the needs plants have in order to grow. My experience is that plants seem to thrive better with morning sun than afternoon sun.
This series will be continued with more ideas and images, but the next post will deal with toxic metals and their removal!
The second issue that people have been asking about is brain fog. This can have a number of different causes, but in the last week, some people reported dramatic recovery of clarity about a week after doing parasite cleanses and others took Brahmi Elixir which is my own formulation. It contains herbs that cross the blood-brain barrier, that are very safe, and that contribute not only to mental clarity but happen also to have anti-parasitic properties.
From a regenerative perspective, the brain does not have first dibs on what is needed to improve cognition or IQ. However, it benefits from removing obstacles to cure, one of which is often parasites and/or spirochetes that can domicile themselves in the brain. This has, unfortunately, been proven by autopsies performed on brains of people who died of Lyme disease.
For the record, Lyme is a biological weapon that has swept the world, first New England and eventually places as remote as the Falkland Islands. In short, improper laboratory procedures unleashed a horror that has circled the Planet many times over.
Getting it all is always an issue. While some monitoring is possible, it is not usually performed. Actually, only specialists tend to look for Lyme disease. Others tend to misinterpret the symptoms. Because we never know how many parasites or spirochetes survived the treatment, it is prudent to repeat the routines from time-to-time. It’s hard to say exactly what frequency would be best, but perhaps the severity of the original symptoms can be a clue. Should the protocol be repeated after three months or after a year? If symptoms recur, it should be obvious that it’s time to start over again. Otherwise, one year is probably the longest one should wait to do a follow up treatment.
Sugar
Though many people take something sweet in hopes of revving up their energy, the fact is that sugar is a sedative. If you doubt this, ask why diabetics can go into a coma. If you really want some energy, try trail mix instead.
There is nothing good that can be said about refined sugar. I went to a refinery in Hawaii and have not bought white sugar since. That is more than 50 years without it finding a place on my shelf. I do use a tiny, tiny bit of coconut sugar, maple syrup crystals, and organic brown sugar that is not put through the horrible processes I saw at the refinery. In my formulas, I sometimes use molasses, jaggery, or honey. The reason it that assimilation of the herbs is significantly improved when in elixir form.
Most liquid herbal preparations can be seen in the bloodstream within minutes following ingestion. Many of my formulas have been clinically observed so we see the exact action on the plasma, parasites, bacteria, free radicals, erythrocytes, and white blood cells. Each dose adds to the benefits . . . presumably up to a point.
For example, if I have a fever, I take a hefty dose of an immune formula every 20-30 minutes. The fever usually breaks within six hours, often less. Then, I cut back on the dosage. However, I might ingest an entire ounce in that first six hours. Once a problem is solved, the health goals change and one can prioritize regrowing hair or improving alertness or sleeping better, whatever is at the top of one’s agenda.
For the last two weeks, I have had an unprecedented number of inquiries relating to oral health in general and teeth in particular so even though I have a pile of ideas for essays, I will devote today’s post to this hugely important subject. At the end, I will explain some unique Substack issues that are mostly relevant to paid subscribers.
The first point to make is that despite the known hazards of radiation exposure, mercury poisoning, fluoride toxicity, and various endocrine disruptors routinely used in dental practices, the risks are rarely discussed with patients and sufficient alternatives to dangers are not usually explored. It is easy to get on a moral high horse and to rant and rave about standard procedures; but the ball is usually in the patient’s court because dentists tend do what they were trained to do despite the harmfulness of standard practices and dangerous substances used, some of which have caused serious side effects and even death.
There are however dentists who have undergone training in what is called biological dentistry and some who are simply a little more holistic than others. It’s hard to argue that even the best practices are 100% safe, but they are certainly better than standard procedures.
There are online directories to biological dentists:

Immunity
For today, I want to put the emphasis on immunity. Radiation is very damaging to all cells. At minimum, it causes electroperforation of cells, and it could cause serious damage to DNA. If going for a dental appointment or any other appointment in which radiation exposure is a risk, take radioprotective herbs before and after the appointment. Every few years, I go back to PubMed to see which herbs have been added to list of herbs that protect against radiation exposure. The most famous, of course, is gingko, but the list has been getting longer and longer and includes some very well known herbs as well as some that might be considered exotic.
Were it me — and anything but an emergency — I would take the herbs for at a least a week prior to any radiologic exam and continue after exposure for one-to-three months. Okay, I am very much a senior, but I am functional in part because I am careful about risk management.
Amalgams
Mercury, the so-called “silver fillings” are actually an amalgam of several metals. My experience is that the immune system is severely compromised by these toxic dental restorations, and certain conditions may not respond well to treatment until the fillings are removed by properly trained biological dentists.
Anyone with neurological complaints as well as severe allergies should seriously consider both replacement of the amalgams and chelation following the removal. This is because some of the toxic metals will have leached into the lymphatic system and bloodstream and will be warehoused in various organs of the body such as the liver, brain, lungs, and kidneys. Chelation can be self-administered or rendered by medical specialists.
Fluoride
The hype over fluoride and its capacity to protect against tooth decay has to be compared to the studies showing diminished intelligence and cognitive skills, calcification of the pineal gland, and loss of ability to experience spiritual influences. There are protocols for removing the calcification, mostly relying on tamarind and secondarily holy basil. The length of time required for recovery depends partly on the level of exposure from birth to the present.
Restorations
After exposure to mold, I realized that all the obstacles to cure had to be overcome or I would not be long for this world. I replaced all the fillings, both amalgams and composites, with Cerec onlays and crowns . . . and did all the chelating and detoxifying required. The first part to recover was thankfully my brain, but little by little, I think the regeneration has been significant and is nearly complete.
Over the years, I have posted thousands and thousands of pages online. This is all being reorganized now with the aid of a talented IT assistant. All sites that crashed are back up and running and further improvements are being rolled out daily. The bulk of the material on radiation can be found on zerorads.com. The place to go for oral health issues is toxicteeth.com.
The brief hiatus was due to a road trip I took through Oregon to Northern California (and back, of course). Momentum is building to create communities in a number of different places in which the emphasis will be on harmonious relationships with Nature, education through experience rather than textbooks, and natural methods of healing. The overall structure will depend on volunteers and interns understudying with experts and learning the “tricks of the trade” through observation and practice rather than academic curriculum with competitive exams. This will be international in scope with a central headquarters, place yet to be determined.
Nine months ago, a pdf download link was posted on Substack. The concept for environmental trusteeship was quite clearly portrayed in this beautifully designed e-book. It has a companion e-book that was posted as a flipbook on Invisible Epidemics.
While years have gone into the planning, we feel the launch is close now, meaning this year, hopefully weeks, not months.
I spent a lot of time behind the wheel, but this is also an opportunity to process ideas. It was very interesting to be out of communication for nine days. I did not watch any videos on the Internet, did not watch television, did not have cell phone distractions (actually, I don’t have a cell phone), and only listened to a little classical music on the radio when the signals were clear, like the first act of the Met broadcast of the Masked Ball when leaving Ashland for I-5. I lost the signal in the mountain passes but heard a divine prayer in the last act.
On the return, there was a gorgeous performance of the Boieldieu Harp Concerto as I was leaving Portland for the last leg of the drive home. It was beautifully performed.
Without any news, the Earth is perfectly lovely in many places. Mt. Shasta is, of course, majestic beyond belief, but whatever is said about geoengineering and so on and so forth, Oregon is really heavily forested and the trees look magnificent.
I’m still playing catch up but will write more in a few days.
Blessings!
Feb 24, 2024 Happy Valentine's Day
This might be a time to explain my relationship to herbs and essential oils. To a modest extent, it goes back half a century, but I opened a clinic in Santa Fe, New Mexico, in January 1990. I hired a Cherokee medicine woman to manage the herbs and between various staff members and a new book by Jane Heimlich called What Your Doctor Won’t Tell You, I became acquainted with botanical treatments for cancer. As fate would have it, on very short notice, I was invited to dinner at a very upscale restaurant. It happened to be my birthday, and I was seated next to Jane Heimlich. She was amazing. She asked poignant questions and also responded thoroughly to my queries. She visited my clinic the next day and thus began a wonderful connection with a lady who knew how to get someone shy like me to bare my soul. Her advice was to investigate the history of botanical cancer treatments thoroughly because no one would believe anything unless there were a trail. Several herb journals reprinted that chapter of my book, some with permission and some without following the rules.
Fate is curious. Some time passed and I was invited to speak at the American Herbalists Guild. A colleague drove up to Cincinnati to meet me, and we visited the Lloyd Library and Museum. He asked me which formulas in my book generated the most confidence in their efficacy. I immediately said, “Compound Syrup Scrophularia” so a lengthy process was undertaken to recreate this formula using the original steam displacement method. It was never my intention to start an herb company. I was simply curious, but one thing led to another, and here we are decades later, and I have a fairly extensive product line. All the initial formulas were based on exact replication of historic formulas, but little by little, my long-time interest in Ayurveda led to major additions to the product line.
Then, again, as fate would have it, I bought a house in the Pacific Northwest. It flooded with the first load of laundry to go through the washing machine. It was a nightmare. I am highly allergic to fungi and was literally deathly ill. It was so bad that I could not even remember the name of my best friend. I knew she was a harpist and my best friend, but for the life of me, I could not remember her name. One noun after another vanished from my vocabulary, and then fate knocked again.
After giving a talk at a seminar hosted by Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt, someone I had known from my Santa Fe days. there was a dinner for a few people at the home of a Chilean herbalist who introduced me to jatobá which almost immediately provided relief for my allergies. Little by little, I began to function a bit better, but the recovery took a very long time. Obviously, I am fine now, and the reason for putting so much emphasis on the Mold Journey course is that I have a lot to share, including hope for others whose situations are as desperate as mine once was.
In Europe, I had the opportunity to study the action of many herbs on plasma and blood cells so I can add to this account that my product line is perhaps the only one that has been studied in this particular manner. It helped me to connect many dots because there is a theory in Ayurveda that regeneration involves a progression through seven different types of “tissues”.
This begins with the plasma. It is something like the water in an aquarium. The fish are utterly dependent on the quality of the nutrients and wholesomeness of the water. Likewise, blood cells swim in plasma — and they have locomotion — so they can make decisions and change directions despite whatever we believe based on textbook information. Red blood cells deliver both oxygen and nutrients to cells on the basis of what might be called criticality. The more important the organ functions, the more priority they are given in terms of nutrients. They cart away carbon dioxide and toxins and expel them, mostly via the lungs.
So, the first place to start with regeneration is the plasma which means providing excellent quality nutrients in an easy to assimilate form, juice being the quickest and easiest way to improve plasma. Next, of course, the red blood cells need to be efficient so they are second in line; and they have some very interesting food and herbal preferences . . . and an affinity for red antioxidants, manjistha being my favorite.
As my experience widened, I developed more and more of my own formulas, always, of course, based on what I was seeing clinically, mostly when consulting in various clinics in Europe since I have not been in practice in the U.S. for over two decades.
In honor of the people who shared their knowledge of indigenous medicine with the foreigners who flooded their country, I renamed many formulas. For example, the Compound Syrup Scrophularia, published by Dr. Eli G. Jones as a gift to his fellow physicians, is called Seneca Elixir. Please be patient as we get back up and running. My technician is doing a fabulous job but she has a lot of work yet to do.
After a little “briefing”, there will be an essay, but there have been some crises that I would like to address. We launched in January last year so many subscriptions recently came up for renewal and quite a number of the charges were disputed because the subscriber did not connect the dots. Substack uses Stripe as a payment gateway, and the identifier on your credit card bill will be iie-academy.org. The academy is associated with the Institute for Invisible Epidemics. There is a contact form on that site that is very easy to access, and this addresses another question people have asked about how to contact me:
https://invisibleepidemics.com/contact-the-institute/
When you hit reply, you clog my inbox so I would like to request that you use the form on the link above. I do respond to e-mail. In the meantime, may I also ask that you do not dispute the charges because they freeze the funds and deduct fees regardless of the outcome of the dispute. If this were happening once in a while, I would not mention anything but the disputes were numerous.
What paid subscriptions mean to me is that there is a trickle of income and encouragement for my efforts. At this time, it amounts to about $40 per post, not obviously enough to keep food on my plate, but income is appreciated. Subscribers can also make comments and ask questions, and we will be adding more features soon, for subscribers only. These will be live podcasts.
I apologize for taking your time with explanations about my challenges, another of which is that all e-commerce was disabled a few days ago due to expiry of a commitment. A replacement is being rolled out, but in the meantime, if you wish to place an order, please use the contact form and include the items, quantity, and shipping location. You will then be sent an invoice.
Our technician is working diligently to replace the system that has expired and your loyalty and patience are both greatly appreciated.
Comments on Recent Events
While many online astrologers put the emphasis on anticipated conflicts in February, I have chosen to concentrate on the surfacing of truth. However, the conjunction of Venus, Mars, and Pluto is definitely intense, and probably in most cases, highly personal . . . which is not to suggest that microcosm is not a reflection of the macrocosm. Relationships can be very uplifting and beautiful . . . and they can come with a lot of expectations regarding how needs will be met. I have been observing many people having a particularly rough go of things lately, but I truly believe there is reason for significant optimism . . . down the road a bit.
One example of Truth surfacing is the recent upload by Dan Willis:
A link was shared with my inner circle, but I don’t want to repeat all the details of the commentaries that followed. Suffice it to say that while I think this video is significant, it is not the final word much less anything close to the bigger picture.
Today is not the day for me to explain the rabbit hole that has been my mental home for the last many years, but it involves a combination of astronomy and geography and ideas that come and go as experts try to interpret their observations. When we try to sift through what is and is not a psyops, we have to consider what we were taught and how it tallies with what we observe. If we become obsessed, as I confess is the case with me, then we will keep delving into the details until we either give up or find what we were seeking.
Since I don’t have the answers, I will not indulge in speculations, but I might perhaps throw out a teaser saying I have serious questions about everything pertaining to the Moon. I do promise to explain this further . . . when the time is right, but for now, this is enough. The gauntlet is on the ground, and we will see if anyone picks it up.
Tucker Carlson and Vladimir Putin
Since heavy weights have commented, I do not expect my thoughts to be taken very seriously, but we are talking about two very experienced professionals who know the curriculum of their fields as well as how they will be perceived by others. No one can appear on camera so often without realizing that every wince and gesture will be noticed and interpreted. Most likely there were also agreements in place about what questions could and could not be asked . . . and perhaps even some rehearsals. In short, an interview of this much significance did not happen just because Tucker Carlson wanted to attend the Bolshoi Ballet in the dead of a Russian winter.
This said, going back to my Vietnam days, I was sent to the Paris Peace Talks with a portfolio, more or less the size of what Mr. Putin handed to Tucker Carlson. It was not chained to my arm, but it was not to be out of sight for even one second. Orly Airport was closed due to rioting so the straightest distance to Paris was off the table. My instructions were to enter the cockpit of the PanAm plane when it was over Tehran so the pilot could radio Tel Aviv about which plane to take from Tel Aviv to Europe. There were two diplomatic cars on the runway in Tel Aviv, and the embassy officials were still undecided about which plane to board for the next flight. It ended up that I would go to Frankfurt and then by road to Brussels where I would commandeer a diplomatic vehicle (special license plates and immunity) to proceed to Paris. I was in my mid-twenties and the excitement was palpable.
Since embassies have courier pouches, why did this particular portfolio have to be hand-carried? My understanding was that it contained photographic evidence of the use of the Ho Chi Minh Trail for moving troops and armaments. In short, Tucker Carlson was given documents of such a sensitive nature that they did not dare to transmit them even by diplomatic courier. Keep in mind that diplomats cannot be searched at the airport as they have immunity so the documents must be “explosive” . . . and Mr. Putin wants the information broadcasted. The fact that the documents were in Russian is typical protocol: the responsibility for correct translations is on the recipient though comparisons of translations can be made. The official version is however the one made by the recipient.
So far as the interview itself went, I did not think there is anything for me to add. Others have already commented; and some questions were handled quite cleverly, such as who blew up the Nord Stream Pipeline. The bottom line for me was thus not the theater of two high profile persons having a chat, but what is in the portfolio.
Stay tuned!
Each person — and probably everything created in every species — has a unique destiny, one for which skills are forged over countless incarnations, perhaps even in various parts of the Universe not remembered by the currently incarnate being. When we descend into the third dimension, where we are now, we drink the waters of Lethe and forget much of what we knew well when our consciousness was predominantly focused on the other side of the veil. What survives the passage into the new incarnation are certain proclivities and interests. These explain the existence of child prodigies and attractions to certain hobbies and professions as well as likes and dislikes of people, foods, colors, etc. It might be fair to say that our “good karma” lets us remember just a little, but it is actually mostly the pressure of destiny speaking to us through affinities.
Today’s post is not, however, about destiny but rather the carryovers that affect our bodies and emotions. My motivation for sharing this at this time is the reckless insanity of violence of all types: random, politically motivated, and even medically sanctioned. To give this a context, I might mention to new subscribers — and remind readers who have been following my work, sometimes going back over half a century — that I died in my last life of Nazi bullet to the spine.
I have relived this event in altered states of consciousness and collected bits and pieces of the story. From my perspective, working in the Underground was dictated by humanitarian issues. It had nothing at all to do with politics, but rather everything to do with saving children from senseless premature death. I was in my 30s at the time, incarnate in a body bearing considerable resemblance to my present one. What I saw was that two soldiers kicked in the front door of my house. I was standing on the stairway and died almost instantly when the bullet hit my spine, my last word being Friedrich, a three-year boy who had carved his way deep into my heart. I asked a psychic once why anyone would take such a terrible incarnation. The response was, “So that you would have the love and courage necessary to take on the risks you were taking.” I always have tears when I think of his sacrifice.
The bond reveals the interconnectivity of karma; but the fact is, there is much more to address. I was apparently born with a hole in my spine. This was only discovered late in the 60s when a radiologist asked me if I had been hit by a bullet in Vietnam. I said, “No.” Perplexed, she said, “You’d remember, wouldn’t you?” I suggested she got my film mixed up with someone else’s. This event took place in the small hospital in Kona, Hawaii, and she said I had been the only x-ray patient that day.
Now, we have a story that spans a century and two different lifetimes. I can tell you that the pain has been there ever since I could remember, i.e., starting very early childhood.
The conclusion is that the suffering humans inflict on one another is not necessarily something that disappears when we leave our bodies. In the regression work I do, I have found injuries that can sometimes be traced back hundreds of incarnations.
The Yin and the Yang
How can this be? It is because the body and the subconscious memories are magnetic so they cannot transform themselves. They can only be modified by a radiatory energy. This concept is something I published back in the 70s in a special edition of The American Theosophist. To make it as clear as possible to those who have not thought this through, Yin is receptive and cannot really initiate. It can discern and discriminate, but its options are basically to accept or reject. Yang, of course, hates rejection; and the causal energy that is deflected is a sort of rogue energy in quest of grounding.
My experience as a facilitator of recall is that we can induce a very safe altered state of awareness in which “lost” memories are brought to a conscious level. Where there is a deeply entrenched physical or emotional pattern, therapy around the historic causes and their consequences can help to transform the wounds and ease the suffering.
This said, I would be remiss if I failed to mention that new experiences, that are vastly different from the painful ones, can overwrite some of the opinions held by the subconscious. However, there can also be backsliding if the new experiences reinfect the older patterns. Working with an objective therapist, a friend who really knows how to listen, or someone who is capable of generating the magic that shifts our patterns from dissonant to harmonious can often resolve ancient wounds.
More than half of my life has been devoted to exploring both the subconscious and superconscious parts of ourselves. This involves inducing an altered state of consciousness and providing prompts to individuals to explore. It is important that there is nothing suggestive about the prompts. Usually, I try to evoke a neutral scene and then ask the subject to describe what he or she sees. I generally start with a child, maybe 4-5 years old. We discover who lives in the home; and almost without fail, the other members of the household are recognized, meaning we incarnate in groups and continually interact with those who are already known to us. Obviously, this gives incentive to create the best possible relationships with everyone around us.
If there is an injury or illness, it is nearly always related in some manner to an event in a previous life. For example, one person saw herself on a sort of pilgrimage to a holy place. In humility, she crawled on her knees over cobblestones, cacti, anything else on the journey of many months to her destination. In another lifetime, she died of a poisoned arrow to a knee, and in this one had melanoma in the same area the arrow had struck.
This in no way suggests that melanoma is related to a toxic experience in a past life, merely that her vulnerability was focused in the knees . . . and, perhaps also had a connection to her piety and spiritual path.
Because of religious persecution, many people have suffered because of their affiliations. Whether we are talking the Crusades or Inquisition or Holocaust, it must be absolutely obvious that prejudice can be deeply entrenched . . . and dare I add senseless. Almost all of us are indoctrinated at an early age, usually by people who have neither the moral character nor wisdom to qualify them as guides for others. Unfortunately, their flaws do not seem to diminish their influence so we reach the point of psychopathic persuasion such as is going on now in Gaza.
Whether I am speaking as a philosopher or therapist, it is obvious to me that the only safe path is the path of harmlessness. Therefore, the militants and those with excessive power should be ignored. For the sake of one’s own soul and the future incarnations of everyone, do not cause anyone else to suffer. It is really this simple.
This concept goes well beyond the heinousness of war. It includes poisons in our air, water, food, and even medicines. It includes how we treat animals and people whose customs and beliefs are different from ours. More importantly, if you take the simple examples given today of injuries and death, it must be obvious that death by aerial assault that leave victims charred is going to have repercussions on both the perpetrators and sufferers for countless incarnations to come.
It is time to renounce violence!
As noted in the anniversary post, we are just starting the second year on Substack. I would like to thank everyone who has subscribed, shared posts with others, hit the like button, commented, and helped this column to reach an audience. I launched Substack with “Homo Borg Genesis And The Future Of Humanity” and since there were no subscribers at the time, the readership has been very small. It was a downloadable pdf and can also now be seen as a flipbook. Since this was way outside what people normally expect from me, a few words of explanation might be in order.
Since 1972, I have been expecting huge changes to begin NOW. Pluto moved into Aquarius over the weekend, and now we are at a very interesting point in the current cycle of Earth history. On the one hand, technology is advancing very rapidly. On the other hand, most of the technology is developed secretly meaning it is both hidden from view and insufficiently regulated. A tremendous amount of technology has far-reaching implications for all life on the Planet, this whether we are taking about plants, animals, or people. Wealth buys influence . . . . and dare we add control over the air waves and Internet . . . as well as politicians and governments.
The downside of Aquarius is the potential for placing too much emphasis on “human innovation” at the expense of what is natural. The other possibility is a genuine renaissance that is humanitarian, egalitarian, intelligent, inclusive, and honest. Aquarius is the sign of the Truth Seeker so the Truth will come out. It is already coming out but not reaching most of the somnambulant audience. For example, high tech devices, tracking of Internet activity, files on every living being, injection of inorganic and potentially toxic materials into our bodies using “medicine” and "food” and even insects and air as carriers is occurring without sufficient challenge to the rights of those perpetrating these crimes nor the rights of the non-consenting who are impacted.
In the pdf on Homo Borg Genesis, I borrowed the definition of human from H. P. Blavatsky: “that entity anywhere in the Universe in whom highest spirit and lowest matter are related by intelligence.” It might have been a useful concept in the 19th century. It made no reference either to the form or emotions. In short, a being in an etheric body that lacks substance such as we understand it, i.e., entirely ghost-like, can be human if there is a mind that can interpret spirit and matter . . . and hopefully forge a correct understanding of the relationship between the two.
In theory, just speculating here, Homo borg genesis would probably qualify as a human if its “mind” assimilated enough data to forge and understanding of what it has not actually experienced. If it desires the experience, which, in its case, is achieved largely by consuming more and more data, it would theoretically develop the prototype of emotion: desire for knowledge of what has not been collected. There must be a line somewhere between a robot and human; but as the one percent realize, the a robot can analyze the entire Internet in a matter of hours so humans cannot compete with this particular prowess.
Then, questions arise as to whether or not robots are potentially beneficial to organic life forms, whether they are safe, and whether humans are useful to those whose ambitions are galactic in scale.
It is one thing to move from an Earth-centric role to a full-scale member of the wider Universe . . . and another to do so as the expense of organic life.
This is a critical issue and one that has involved my soul and its destiny ever since I left my true home to come to Earth. It was so long ago that I cannot set a precise date, but I remember the instructions and background information.
There is a schism on the Earth between highly materialistic survivors of a catastrophe on their home planet and the indigenous peoples of the Earth. The light workers, mainly from Sirius, who first came as twin souls to what is now Egypt, did not reach out to the older civilizations on Earth. In a way, the light only widened the separation between spirituality and materialism, but failed to resolve the issues that are unique to Earth and its earlier cultures.
The method was to depend more on love and less on light. It was to be inclusive, friendly, respectful, and holistic. In short, everything natural was to have precedence over whatever is man-made and synthetic. It was shown that the mind can be proud and enthralled with itself and its projections, but unless there is a relationship to the natural world, the mind can be dangerous, perhaps only abstract, but potentially so out of touch with “reality” that is it does not recognize the difference between mental gymnastics and authenticity.
The foundation I was laying when starting Substack was intended to deconstruct much indoctrination that is not supported by honest reporting of history or application of science to modern life. This indoctrination begins very early in life with parents who were also indoctrinated, then churches and schools that perpetuate the myths and grade you on your ability to regurgitate what is mostly nonsense.
The media, largely owned and operated by the same tycoons who “innovate” and profit over their innovations, then control the narrative to the point that there is almost no real journalism left in the world. We now have a new crop of “citizen journalists,” mostly plagiarists who have no boots on ground, just a mouse to click.
Little by little, I have shown how Hildegard of Bingen was using galangal from Asia before Marco Polo’s adventures, how Zheng He’s voyages dwarfed those of Christopher Columbus but furthered the influence of Chinese mercantilism.
What we can expect with the Aquarian influence is that many variations of social organization will be promoted, all, of course, colored by the interests of the promoters and whatever agenda they wish to impose on others. That would be Pluto at its worst, but there will also be resistance, hopefully a great deal of resistance, to the annihilation of life as we know it in order to develop Space Age skills. Given the nature of those at the helm, we can be almost certain that the goal would be plunder and colonize, not to develop cordial relationships with those whose civilizations may be less or more advanced than ours.
Meanwhile, each of us needs to think through what is important. Do we want to live in 15-minute cities where our digital currency can be turned off at the whim or glitch of anyone or anything . . . or do we want a beautiful Planet that is friendly, organic, natural, and supportive of our wholeness?
This is the 142nd post and it is the one-year anniversary of my debut on Substack. I have actually been thinking for the last two months about how to start the second year. Looking at the world causes a lot of sadness, but this could change overnight if people as a group — if humanity united in commitment to the common good — and if we each took steps in the right direction. It is difficult sometimes to believe that simple measures can have profound effects.
The first step is actually very personal and sometimes it challenges us to think outside the box. It involves the conquest of our own thoughts, think of it as the yoga of the mind rather than various postures of the body. Our actions are seeded in our thoughts so if our minds are calm, reasonable, tolerant, generous, kind, and friendly, our actions will necessarily be of the same nature. No one would be afraid of what could go wrong much less of some volcanic outburst that shatters the nerves of those in the vicinity of the one whose temperament has gone amok.
My idea is that if each person reading this played it forward, meaning shares the ideas with three others who, in turn, play it forward again . . . and again . . . and again, tensions would reduce. As they do so, the people experiencing this reprieve from fear would also relax and play it forward.
Yes, I can perhaps sound naïve, but this method actually works. It is concerning that there are so many false prophets describing the alpha male as someone with dry powder and impatience rather than as someone wise, compassionate, and visionary.
With the mass media, even so-called free-speech platforms, being so biased, it is difficult for anyone to have clear understanding of the facts of any situation. One gauntlet I might throw is to change the channels you watch for one week. For instance, if you watch ABC, try Fox News for a week. If you watch Fox News, try ABC. If you intentionally engage someone with the opposite viewing habits, initiate a conversation about important events such as the wars in Ukraine and the Middle East, the elections, the best way to manage immigration and integration into a society that is different. Be calm, clear, and pledge to listen to a perhaps diametrically opposed view. Pass the talking stick to the other person with a commitment to listen. Neither may raise his or her voice, neither may use vulgar language, neither may criticize the other. If, as expected, the views differ significantly, explore the ways facts are presented and discuss a solution to bias that brings the Truth into focus. This is mature, not rabid polarity.
People do not necessarily have the same tastes or preferences so if world tensions are too volatile, try discussing something like target saving. Or, play a game, you have just won $100,000, but you and your most important other or adversary can only spend it IF you can agree on the priorities. Maybe one person wants to travel and the other wants to add an extra room to the house. You cannot split the funds, you must agree without any bullying or arguing. Try to make it fun so that problem solving becomes easier and easier.
Lastly, as I start this new cycle of writing, I would like to urge everyone to speak politely and gently. This is not a sign of weakness but of maturity. It also generates trust and improves our vibration.
It’s a holiday, freezing cold, with many Internet outages. So, I am posting a video that I have been saving for months. The 17th is the anniversary of my launching of my Substack column. I will try to make it a special occasion. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy this beautiful rendition of the Sleepwalker.
With many people wondering if our civilization will survive, it may be time to visit the wisdom of the ancients to gain a perspective of the duration of creation. According to both Eastern and Western traditions, the worlds were created by sound, “the word” or “aum” or the manifestation of spirit by the Creator. In the Indian tradition, day and night alternate as periods of activity and rest. One day in the life of the Creator, Brahma, is 4.32 billion years. It is followed by a night of the same length. This is remarkably similar to what geologists and astronomers in our times see as the age of the Earth based on the analysis of the breakdown of radioactive isotopes.
Brahma’s lifespan is 100 of his years so trillions of our solar years. This will become mind-boggling for those who hate math or whose imaginations simply do not stretch this far into cosmogenesis. So, my goal is to break this down into bits and pieces we can almost handle, starting with a “day in the life Brahma”. This is a day of 12 Brahmanic hours, not both day and night. For those who are curious, the terminology for the day is kalpa and the period of rest is called pralaya.
Right now, we are only talking about the day. It is divided into 1000 periods, each lasting 4.32 million years. Try not to become confused. The “day in the life of Brahma” is 4.32 billion years; and these are divided into 1000 periods, each of which has 14 sub-periods called manvantaras. It is the manvantaras I want to discuss today.
The word manvantara is a composite of manu, the progenitor of humanity, and antara or duration. Each manvantara is divided into 71 parts, and we are currently living in a time period that is about half way through the current segment of this immense scheme. In short, the world is not scheduled to end. If this is all you need to know, this is the bottom line, and you can stop worrying about the end of the Earth as we know it.
If your mind can wrap itself around the bigger picture, then the current manu is number 7 of the 14 in this cycle. His name is Vaivasvata. He is the son of Surya, the Sun God. Each manu has a sort of council or court of gods and sages. For dating purposes, we can assume that the Vaivasvata Manu is the post-deluvian Manu who rescued our ancestors who survived the Great Flood. In the current cycle, 28 of the 71 subcycles have passed. Each subcycle ended with a crisis or disaster and was followed by a golden age.
As we look at the fads and fashions of the current prognosticators of the future, several issues pinch my nerves. One of these is the notion that we can leap frog over the fourth dimension to become fifth dimensional. Having facilitated so many altered states of consciousness, I can say that no one who tried to function coherently in the fifth dimension came anywhere close to succeeding. This is more or less what I see among those who are daring to proclaim the advent of pervasive fifth dimensional consciousness. All I see is confusion, including the notions that technology and artificial intelligence can propel us into the fifth dimension without mastering the fourth dimension.
I quiver when contemplating the consequences of acquiring mental prowess before perfecting the virtues of the fourth dimension. The fourth dimension is really, really beautiful. It is where the soul can be experienced as the higher reality of the imperfect third dimensional being. In the fourth dimension, it is impossible to imagine harming another living being. It is impossible to imagine competition or even self-assertion since the soul is inclusive, compassionate, and wise. Without benevolent intent, the fifth dimension is an accident waiting to happen.
If we want to access the fourth dimension, we might set aside a few minutes each day to reflect on what we could have done better. Harvest that lesson and use it next time a similar situation arises. It is that simple, but it is likely to work much more effectively if we disconnect from the grid.
